The students will possess

PO 1

An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals for providing engineering solutions pertaining to agriculture

PO 2

An ability to identify, formulate, analyze and solve problems in agriculture

PO 3

An ability to design a system, component or process to increase the agricultural production, and to achieve improved crop and food processing techniques or processes by taking into account of the issues such as economic, social, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability and sustainability and food security

PO 4 An ability to conduct experiments as well as analyze and interpret data and synthesis information to provide valid conclusion
PO 5 An ability to apply the skills acquired   on  the  various  aspects   of  agricultural  engineering    to  become entrepreneurs, scientists, academicians  and  technologists  to  obtain   sustained  food  production in order to achieve food security for  the  exponentially  growing  population
PO 6 An ability to create, select and use modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice
PO 7 An understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities
PO 8 An ability to function effectively as an individual, as a part of team and in a multi-disciplinary environment
