BIT at a Glance
The Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, established in 1996 by the Bannari Amman Group, serves as one of the unique places of higher learning in the Southern part of India. It is endowed with the luxury of all amenities, in the hub of Eastern and Western Ghats. BIT focuses more on the attributes such as Knowledge, teamwork, innovation, entrepreneurship, courage, sacrifice and duty that are cherished values for a meaningful life. BIT has been innovating and updating its processes through various administrative and academic reformations. This is aimed at catering to the needs of the students and members of faculty in our institute. The institute has been conferred with a number of accolades and recognitions from various forums of high eminence.

The five-storeyed, air-conditioned and computerized library is well-stacked. 87000 Volumes, 400 National and International Journals, 6500 CD-ROMs, a Digital Library with 6000 e-journals, 274 NPTEL and 166 NITTTR video courses are part of the resources. BIT is an Institutional member of the British Council Library, Chennai, DELNET, New Delhi and INDEST Consortium, New Delhi.
