Program Outcomes

(a)

Graduates will become familiar with fundamentals of Basic Science, Engineering and Technology courses and hence acquire the capability to applying them.

(b)

The Fashion Technology graduates understand the various materials required in fashion designing and garments for various functional applications.

(c)

The graduates will be able to understand the concepts of design & translate the design into prototype / products and also to analyze & interpret data related to fashion design, manufacture and quality analysis.

(d)

The graduates will demonstrate their ability to solve technical problems via team work, technical approaches, self study and life long learning approaches.

(e)

Graduates develop the potential to understand the customers’ requirements, convert their idea into various products with optimum process and cost parameters and deliver the products to the customers.

(f)

Graduates will have requisite laboratory skills, and become familiar with the use of various modern computer aided systems, this in turn would make them be knowledgeable for future research aspirations.

(g)

The graduates will demonstrate effective language communication skills & communicate the fashion design, data and other technical aspects.

(h)

Graduates will become equipped with the knowledge and skill sets necessary for entry-level placement in both FT as well as IT companies.

(i)

The graduates will develop capacity to understand personnel, professional and ethical responsibility and will display skills required for continuous and life long learning.

(j)

The graduates will have sound foundation for entering into higher education programmes in the Fashion, Selected areas of Textiles and Management Sciences.

Graduates develop the potential to become job-givers rather than just job-seekers.

The graduates are expected to have knowledge of contemporary issues and modern practices.
