About Club
Muthamil Mandram is exclusively meant for our mother tamil. In this
drastic and developing world,we the people of Muthamizh Mandram are meant to take the tamil
culture and heritage to our forthcoming generations and also to develop the skills like
speaking, poem writing, debate etc. All the members of the mandram are working together in this
with great interest and love for the mother tongue Tamil. Not only have they joined the mandram,
they are also expressing the pride of Tamil through their Tamil poetry, story, Tamil book
publication etc. Our Muthamizh mandram members are conducting music concerts and plays with the
aim of developing not only Iyartamil but also Muthtamil as Isaitamil and Natakatamil. The
members of the Muthamizh Mantra are never referred to as the members of the Muthamizh, they
refer to the Muthamizh family as the children of a mother in Tamil. As brothers and sisters,
they are united with love and affection, revealing the wonders of Tamil language. The ‘Pongal
festival’ at our Bannari Amman Institute of Technology is a testament to the fact that the
Muthamizh Mandram is protecting Tamil cultures. Our Muthamizh Mandram has been preserving the
Tamil arts such as planting seedlings(நாற்று நடுதல்) in agriculture, slippery tree( வழுக்கு
மரம்) and Pongal vaithal, gummi(கும்மி) during the Pongal festival. 'Sangamam' is a competition
held not only for our college but also for other colleges on behalf of the Muthamizh Mandram as
another part in the development of Tamil. Art and literature competitions are held for college
students every year through the Sangamam event. It is located not only among our college
students but also among the college students to promote the Tamil feeling. Thus, at all places
and at all times, the Muthamizh mandram and the members of the Muthamizh mandram are expressing
their duty to promote the Tamil language and to proclaim Tamil pride to the world.
