IEEE-BIT Student Branch

Welcome to the Bannari Amman Institute of Technology IEEE Student Branch, established in 2005. Our section has grown consistently, guiding students to tackle real-world challenges and nurture innovative ideas through mentorship. Notably, our branch achieved the IEEE-Student Enterprise Award in 2008 for developing an FPGA Model of Fuzzy (PD) Controller for Insulin Pumps in Diabetes. We are proud recipients of the Best Student Branch Award in 2015 and 2016.

Members of IEEE BIT actively participate in national and international hackathons and engage in diverse projects. As part of IEEE, the world’s largest technical professional society dedicated to advancing innovation and technology for humanity’s benefit, we foster interest in engineering among students. Affiliated with the IEEE Madras Section in Region 10 with the code STB64491, our branch continues to empower students with skills and opportunities for professional growth and contribution.
