Overview
The Department of Mathematics has been started in the year 1996. We offer 18 Mathematics courses for Under Graduate Programs and each Post Graduate Program is offered with 1 Mathematics course. The commitment of members of faculty is the real strength of our department in educating the students in Mathematics. The total members of faculty in the department are 23 out of which 13 are Doctorates and 7 are pursuing their doctoral program. The department is approved as a Research Centre by Anna University, Chennai. It helps us in calibrating our expertise in the area related to Topology and Differential equations .

- Mould students to develop mathematical reasoning and use it to interpret complex engineering problems.
- Design mathematical modelling for systems involving world wide technology.
