The department was established in the year 1996 with aim to provide strong fundamentals in Science and Technology under graduate courses and to develop the research activities in Applied Physics. It caters to the needs of B.E./B.Tech students in strengthening their knowledge in Applied Physics to serve for their career as an effective technocrat.
