• Liquid Crystal Research Laboratory (LCRL) is established in the year 2004 and is working in the fortiner research areas of Condensed matter. Five major sponsored research projects by AICTE, BRNS, DRDO and DST have been successfully completed and the sixth one funded by SERB is in active consideration. A total of 88 lakhs is obtained as funding. Three sponsored national seminars/conferences by AICTE, ISTE and SERB have been conducted. Three Indian patents are filed out which two are published. More than 100 international journal articles are published. Eight students obtained doctoral degree while five are currently working.

  • To provide a real electronic product experience to the students by helping them to convert their ideas into prototypes, the PCB Design Laboratory is established in the ECE Department. In this Laboratory, students can convert their ideas to practical circuits, simulate the circuits and create PCB Layout for the same. Students are encouraged to simulate the Circuits they learn in their courses and create the PCB Layout for the same. Through this Lab, the Department is a member of Indian Printed Circuits Association (IPCA) and Indian Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA). Various Training for the Internal, External students and Faculty Members have been conducted in this Laboratory.

  • The PCB Layouts designed in the PCB Design Laboratory are converted to Printed Circuit Boards in the Laboratory. All the facilities to Solder and troubleshoot are available in this Laboratory. The PTH Machine available in the Lab enables the students to create the double sided boards also. Students are also encouraged envision and implement their projects into prototypes in this Laboratory.

  • This Laboratory is established as a part of the Provisional MoU signed with Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Private Limited enables the students to explore the research opportunities in the engineering application area of image processing of vision care under Diabetic Health care technology. The tool developed by Bosch known as MediBilderLite is used to assist in viewing, manipulating and analyzing eye images captured from Bosch Eye Fundus Cameras.
