|Ms. C. Vaanmathi, D/o. Mr. T. N. Chenniappan of Sathyamangalam completed her B.Sc. Computer Technology in 2009. During her college days, she spent more time in the Library and Yoga Center than in the classroom and she has been a promising student throughout. She was quite determined to take up Civil Service Exams to serve the needy and downtrodden as it has wider scope and opportunity to reach out to the underprivileged sector of the society. Accordingly, she became successful in her 4th attempt and secured 152 Rank in the India's Civil Service Examination in 2015. We wish her abundantly to carry forward her mission of serving the deprived and the disadvantaged sections of the society in the days to come. We are indeed proud of her.|
|Mr. K. C. Devasenapathy completed his B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering in 2002 with a commendable academic record, at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam. His passion for public service made him forego the job offer of a multinational company and go to Chennai to train himself for the UPSC examinations. Even though he did not get valid score in the first two attempts, his determination helped him to clear the exam in the third attempt with an All India Rank of 108. His dream as an IAS officer became true with his hard work and efforts. Currently he is the District Collector of Dantewada, Chhattisgarh.|
|Ms. B. Abinaya Nishanthini completed her B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering in 2008 with a good academic record, at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam. Her passion for Public Service made her work hard and write the UPSC examinations. She passed the examinations(Indian Defence Accounts Service) in the third attempt and secured an All India Rank of 817. The initiatives of the Institute enabled the stake holders like her to adorn such covetous positions in the State and Central Governments. She joined the service in December 2013.|
|Ms. P. Rohini Priyadarshini from Karamadai, Coimbatore, has secured a notable rank in India's elite Civil Services Examination.
She completed her B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2008, which she completed with a gold medal, at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam. Her passion for public service made her spurn the job offer of a multinational company and go to Delhi to train herself for the UPSC examinations. Though she was unsuccessful in the first two attempts, her perseverance helped her to clear the exam in the third attempt with an All India Rank of 243. The present rank enabled Ms. P. Rohini Priyadarshini to secure the state cadre in IPS and she is currently serving as the Assistant Superintendent of Police.
|Mr. S. Manikandan from Tiruchengode, completed his B.Tech. Fashion Technology in 2008 with a commendable academic record at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathymangalam. He excelled not only in his academics but also in various co-curricular and extracurricular activities which in turn awarded him the “Best Outgoing Student” and “First in overall Academics” with gold medals in 2008. He cracked “Services Selection Board (SSB)” interview in 2009 and joined Indian Navy in the Executive Branch as Commissioned Officer in January 2010. At present, he serves as a Lieutenant Commander in the Naval Establishment, Colaba, Mumbai.|
|Mr. R. Ravichandran completed his M.Sc. [Software Engineering] in the year 2011 with a good academic record, at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam. The dream of every individual varies from person to person, but his love and dedication towards the nation made him choose his life to be an Officer in "Indian Air Force" (IAF) in 2013. His strong moral values and ethos had guided him to achieve this. Now as a Flying Officer (Fg Offr) he is posted to one of the well-known forward bases of Indian Air Force in Central Air Command (CAC). Today he is serving the nation with glory, by fulfilling his duties and promises that he made to himself and to the nation.|
|Mr. P. Dhaneswaran, Assistant Commandant, from Coonoor, completed his B.E, Electronics & Communication in the year 2014 with flying colours. While at BIT, he excelled not only in his Academics but also in other Co-curricular and Extra-curricular activities. He was Cadet Under-Officer in NCC (Army Wing) during the year 2011-2013 and achieved B and C certificates with “A” grade. He practiced martial arts of Oyama Karate-Do, Kyokushinkai and secured rank of 8th kyu in November 2012. His interests in publishing papers and journals in various international conferences fetched him the ‘BIT Achiever Award’. He cleared 'Services Selection Board (SSB)' interview in 2014 and joined Indian Coast Guard in the Technical Branch as Commissioned Officer in January, 2015. Presently, he is posted in District headquarters No.3 New Mangalore, Karnataka.|
|Mr. M. Rajivi Prashanth completed his B.E. in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering in the year 2013 at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam. He was an active NCC cadet in his college days and actively participated in many training camps. He had secured in NCC C certificate examination. He was selected for training as Gentleman Cadet (GC) at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. At present he is serving as an Instrumentation Engineer in the Indian Army.|
|Mr. Bhaargav P. Paile completed his B.E. in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering in 2013 at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam. During his college days, he actively participated in state level football tournament. He underwent the training at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun to shoulder the responsibility as the Lieutenant in the Indian Army. He is currently the Lieutenant in the Indian Army, Anantnag, Jammu Kashmir.|
|Mr. S. Sujeeth completed his B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2011 at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam. His desire to serve our nation led him to occupy the covetous position in the Naval Force of India as Lieutenant at Southern Naval Command in Cochin.|
Ms. Ishwariya Venkatesh earned her BTech Biotechnology degree at BIT in 2009. She underwent her Internship at Sugarcane Breeding Institute, Coimbatore (2007), Institute of Ayurveda and Alternative Medicine, Bangalore (2008), and IIT, Chennai (2009) during her UG programme. These internships enabled her to join the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for her PhD in Molecular Neuroscience and completed it successfully in 2014. While doing her PhD, she also served as Lead Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee during 2010-2014. Subsequently, with lots of accolades, she has joined Dr Murray Blackmore Lab at Marquette University, US with a Postdoctoral Fellowship on Epigenetic Regulation of Axon Growth in Mammalian CNS Neurons. In the meanwhile, she has also received an Independent research funding for her postdoctoral research from Craig H Neilsen Foundation, USto the tune of 1,50,000 US dollars (10 Crores INR ) for two years.
Mr. Rajivalochan Subramaniam studied B.E. Electrical and Electronics Engineering during 2003-2007 at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam.. His final-year project was funded by the Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology in 2007. In August 2008, Rajiv joined the Electrical Engineering Master’s programme at Louisiana Tech University. USA, where he got a partial scholarship. He started working at the ATLAS detector at the European Center for Nuclear Research (CERN), Geneva, exactly two years before the discovery of the Higgs boson-like particle. At present he is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Louisiana State University and Graduate Research Assistant, at CERN,Switzerland.
Mr. N. YUVARAJ completed his B.E. in Aeronautical Engineering in 2013 at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam. He realized his dream as Lieutenant in the Army through his sheer hard work. The initiatives of the Institute enabled the stake holders like him to adorn such covetous positions in the State and Central Government organizations.
