About the Institute
Bannari Amman Institute of Technology is an autonomous, self-financing engineering college approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. Located on the banks of the river Bhavani, BIT offers 12 UG, 2 PG and MBA programmes and BIT has been recognized as an Institute level Research center. The institute has well-established academic and research facilities with many state-of-the-art initiatives. The campus has excellent infrastructure built in collaboration with industry and research partners. The spacious and earth- connected buildings with their landscaped courtyards and pathways are designed to emphasize business ethics and the characteristics of an excellent learning centre. The campus houses well- planned academic blocks, computer centres, lecture halls, libraries, laboratories, conference rooms, staff quarters, residence halls and student centres.
About the Department
The department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering was established in 2007. It offers a four-year Undergraduate Programme of Bachelor of Engineering. Under the supervision of the faculty of Electrical Engineering, the department also provides a PhD/MS by research programme. B.E Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering Programme is accredited by IET, United Kingdom from 2016 to 2023 and NBA, New Delhi 6 Years in Tier –I Washington accord. The department boasted a prominent staff team with 8 doctorates and 5 post graduates, all 5 of them have registered for Phd in various fields of specialisation and have a rich industry, research and teaching experience. The department has well equipped laboratories to enhance the technical expertise of the students. The process control laboratory is the highlight of the department with advanced controllers (Siemens, Delta,Rockwell AB PLC and Siemens DCS) and real time process stations that are built to mimic an industry. The computer center comprises 100 systems with all the latest softwares and internet facilities that aid the students to perform better in their logical aspects. The department has established its Centre of Excellence in Industrial Automation and smart sensor Intelligence along with Siemens and Sick sensor.
About the Conference
The aim of this conference is to bring the latest trends in instrumentation systems that are utilized in industries. This conference will bring the latest techniques in instrumentation systems to monitor and manage traffic and transportation systems, power plants, water supply networks, waste management, law enforcement, information systems, schools, libraries, hospitals, and other community services. The National Conference NCIT’2025 brings together Researchers, Academicians and Industrial personnel on a common platform to share their views and research findings. It creates a forum for exchanging ideas to attempt the future challenges from the perspective of emerging trends in engineering and technology. It aims to expose the trends in automation and instrumentation systems. The renowned speakers from reputed industries and academic institutions are invited for the conference. The conference includes technical sessions, tutorials and technology and business panels. Prospective authors are invited to submit the papers to the conference. The organizing committee of the conference is pleased to invite prospective authors to submit their original manuscripts to NCIT 2025. The quality papers (Plagiarism: less than 15%) will be published in reputed journals.
